Our standard
How we choose firms
Every firm we introduce you to has to meet the same standard, and keep meeting it.
Regulated
Every firm is authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, and we check the register.
Accredited
We look for the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme or an equivalent quality standard.
Local knowledge
Firms with offices or a track record in Kent, who know the councils, searches and local risks.
Clear, fixed fees
Quotes must list the legal fee and every disbursement, with no hidden extras.
Good service
We look at independent reviews and how quickly firms respond, and keep checking once they’re on our panel.
Open about fees
Firms must tell you in writing about any referral fee they pay us.

How we’re paid
Our service is free to you. When a transaction we introduced completes, the solicitor firm may pay us a referral fee. It never changes the price in your quote, and the firm must tell you about it in writing.
We don’t charge you anything, and we don’t add anything to your quote. Firms pay the same referral fee whichever service you choose, so it doesn’t affect which firm we match you with.

A typical freehold purchase in Kent takes 8 to 12 weeks from instruction to completion. Leasehold and chains take longer.

Questions about how it works
Do I have to use the firm you introduce?
No. The quote is free and there’s no obligation. You can accept it, ask questions or walk away.
How many firms will contact me?
One. We match you with a single firm, so you won’t get a stream of calls.
Are you a law firm?
No. Conveyancing Solicitors Kent is an introduction service. The firms we introduce are regulated by the SRA or CLC and do the legal work.
Does using you cost more than going direct?
No. The quote you get is the firm’s own fixed fee. Any referral fee comes out of the firm’s side and doesn’t change your price.
What if I’m not happy with the firm?
Tell us. We’ll help sort it out, and if needed we can introduce you to another firm. Formal complaints go through the firm’s own complaints process.
