About us at a glance
Our story
Our story
Conveyancing Solicitors Kent started in 2012 to make finding a good local conveyancer simpler. It’s part of the HIVE group, run from Herne Bay.
The HIVE group has worked in Kent property since 2008, alongside estate and letting agents across the county. That’s given us a close view of how moves in Kent go right, and what holds them up.
Our promise
Our promise to you
We introduce you to one regulated firm that suits your move, rather than passing your details around.
- Regulated firms only
- Fixed, itemised fees
- Your details shared with one firm only
- Honest about how we’re paid
Our standard
How we choose firms
Every firm we introduce has to meet the same standard.
Regulated
Every firm is authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, and we check the register.
Accredited
We look for the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme or an equivalent quality standard.
Local knowledge
Firms with offices or a track record in Kent, who know the councils, searches and local risks.
Clear, fixed fees
Quotes must list the legal fee and every disbursement, with no hidden extras.
Good service
We look at independent reviews and how quickly firms respond, and keep checking once they’re on our panel.
Open about fees
Firms must tell you in writing about any referral fee they pay us.
